Note: These aren't predictions. This is a guide based on runners best times at Saratoga State Park. If a runner did not run at Saratoga I made a best estimate based on their speed ratings. I use team lineups assuming that everyone on their team is healthy unless I find out otherwise.

Girls Class A - 12:30pm

Saratoga looks to be almost a lock for their 13th straight sectional title. The real battle will be for second as Guilderland, Bethlehem, and Shenendehowa could all challenge for the runner-up spot. Colonie and Shaker could be a darkhorse. A couple of question marks as Guilderland's Emily Burns and Niskayuna's Felicia Sciortino did not run at Suburbans. If either of them don't run then it may drastically change their team scores.

Individually, Taylor Driscoll of Saratoga Springs has been the top runner in Section 2 and is the favorite. Teammate Keelin Hollowood is the closest competitor with Shaker's Maryanna Lansing looking to be the spoiler.

Girls Class B - 11:00am

Holy Names is looking for their first sectional title since 2005. They also won their only state title that year. Will history repeat itself? Burnt Hills is the two-time sectional champions and five out of the last six and will not give up that title very easily. Kaylee Scott didn't run at Colonial's for Holy Names and the race may tighten a little if she doesn't run at Sectionals but Holy Names is six deep and it will still be very tough for Burnt Hills to prevail. Queensbury may be looking for an application to enter Section 7 as they are a top five Class B team in the state but only third in Section 2.

Individually, Catherine Maloy of Holy Names ran an impressive 17:35 all alone at Colonial's last week which makes her the favorite for the individual title. Teammates Leah Triller and Kaylee Scott could give her a challenge as I don't believe Triller went all out last week. The Burnt Hills duo of Emily Dingman and Jordan Casey could also challenge. There is going to be a serious fight for the last two state meet spots as there could be up to ten runners fighting for those two spots.

Girls Class C - 11:30am

If this was WWE RAW, Good Ole' J.R. would call this fight an old good fashioned slobberknocker. Schuylerville and Maple Hill will be in a battle for the title with Fonda-Fultonville not too far behind. Maple Hill won the only heads up battle by eight points way back at the Queensbury Invitational. They both won their divisions at Burnt Hills with Maple Hill having a slight advantage in team average. They are really closely matched all the way down the line from their first runners through their fifth. The only drawback for Schuylerville is that they only have five runners. If there is the possibility of a tie, Maple Hill has the only sixth runner. Fonda-Fultonville is also low on numbers but if their third through fifth runners can move up then they can also be in the mix. Whoever the winner is it will break a long drought. Schuylerville last won in 1984, Fonda-Fultonville in 1999, and Maple Hill have never won a sectional title.

Individually, like the team race, should be a close one. Stillwater's Victoria Hathaway has the best time coming in but it's less than a second on Fonda-Fultonville's Jamie Kasza and less then two seconds on Maple Hill's Kelly Pasko. Schuylerville's Ashley Watson is less than ten seconds behind and could also be in the battle. If I was a betting man (and I am) I would go with Kasza based on her beating the other three heads up during the season but it should be a very tight race.

1. Victoria Hathaway Stillwater 1. Schuylerville 72
2. Jamie Kasza Fonda-Fultonville 2. Maple Hill 75

Girls Class D - 12:00pm

Greenwich has four out of the top five times and are the big favorite to win. It will be the ninth straight sectional title for Greenwich in both Class C and Class D. Defending champions Berne-Knox-Westerlo looks to be second but will be challenged by league rival Duanesburg. Duanesburg beat B-K-W in the WAC Championships but Courtney Tedeschi didn't run. If she's back then the Bulldogs should take second.

Berne-Knox-Westerlo's Courtney Tedeschi is the defending champion and has the best time in Class D but she didn't run last week at the WAC Championships. If she's running then she should be the favorite. Greenwich's Madeline Montague and Tori Spezio will challenge her for the title.
