Note: It was much tougher to project this year. Usually I just use Saratoga State Park times but this year it was tough to use Queensbury times because quite a few runner didn't run at Queensbury and then there was another batch of runners that ran Queensbury but ran it over a month ago at the Queensbury Invy. I made a few adjustments here and there, but remember, this is just a projection, I could be way off this year.

Boys Class A - 12:00pm

Saratoga Springs is a big favorite to win their second straight sectional title. The big battle is for second as I can see five different teams able to take the runner-up spot. Colonie placed second last week at Suburbans and can pull it off again with another strong performance. Bethlehem will need Tom Quackenbush to have a solid race to take Colonie. Shaker, Niskayuna, and Shenendehowa can just in their with good races.

Individually, Bethlehem's Stephen Booker took the favorite position after his win at Suburbans last week. Saratoga's Aidan Tooker and Jay Navin, Columbia's Kyle Gronostaj, and Colonie's Jake Johnson could all take the individual title.

Boys Class B - 12:30pm

Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake is the favorite but I feel the score will be much closer. Burnt Hills didn't run Queensbury this year so I had to plug them in using Saratoga times and speed ratings. C.B.A. and Scotia-Glenville could challenge with solid races. If Burnt Hills wins it will be their fifth title in six year.

C.B.A.'s Justin VanEpps and John Rabideau of Burnt Hills are the individual favorites with VanEpps the slight favorite. He would be C.B.A.'s first sectional champion since Kerry Boyle in 1984. Burnt Hills' Jared Short and Patrick McGuinness, Jonah Allard of Bishop Gibbons, Lansingburgh's Mike Miller, and Queensbury's Zane Belden could just into the top three. Scotia-Glenville's Daken Broadhead could be a darkhorse after a solid run last Saturday.

Boys Class C - 11:00am

Corinth has been the favorite most of the season but Fonda-Fultonville has been getting closer and closer all season. When I ranked them out Fonda got the nod but Corinth and Ichabod Crane could both take the title. It's going to depend on who's fourth and fifth runners step up.

Corinth's Tanner Flint has been strong all year and is a solid favorite for the individual title. Flint would be Corinth's first sectional champion of all-time. Stillwater's Ethan Jaynes and Fort Plain/Canajoharie could step in if Flint falters.

Boys Class D - 12:30pm

Greenwich is the defending sectional champion and looks even stronger than they did last year. Maple Hill and Duanesburg should battle it out for second.

Individually, if Greenwich's Jeremy Spezio is healthy then he should win. He's run the last two races easy so the question is if he will go all out here or wait until the State Meet. Even if he is healthy he will still have a race with Duanesburg's Pat Murphy and Maple Hill's Jordan Healy will challenge for the title. Argyle's Daryn Hutchings has also had a solid season and could be a darkhorse.
