Note: As I say every year, this is just a projection. It's pretty much everyone's best Saratoga State Park times and some adjustments where I felt it was needed. I have no knowledge of runners that are out injured so I included just about everyone that has run but I have left out some runners that have been out for multiple weeks.

Boys Class A - 11:00am

What to Look For: Pretty much a carbon copy of last week's Suburban Council Championships. Saratoga has a slight edge over Guilderland and Shenendehowa. If Guilderland and Shenendehowa can get the fifth runners up closer to their fourth then it will be a very tight three way race for the championship. Individually, Saratoga's Aidan Tooker is undefeated this year but was pushed of Guilderland's Noah Carey with Colonie's Jake Johnson right behind. Interested to see how much the pace is pushed. Will it be fast and possibly tease the course record of 14:35 or will they back off a little to save some for the rest of the season?

Boys Class B - 11:30am

What to Look For: Burnt Hills had a strong team early in the season when they beat Guilderland by a point at Guilderland then got even stronger when they brought up four runners from the frosh team to make them very strong. This is the youngest Burnt Hills team I can remember, and yet, are still a favorite over a strong Queensbury team. Queensbury's Ethan Carey is the individual favorite as he is the only runner under 15:30. Kevin Gideon, Tyler Berg, and Aidan Gillooley from Burnt Hills should challenge.

Boys Class C - 12:00pm

What to Look For: So many teams, so many runners, it's almost too tough to sort them all out. Looks to be a two team race between Glens Falls and Schuylerville. Schuylerville has the up front strength with three runners in the top ten but Glens Falls has the better depth. If Schuylerville can get a little more from their fourth and fifth runners then it can be a different result. Individually, Greenville's Sean McAneny is looking to move up from his runner-up finish from last year and is a big favorite. Chris Hughes of Glens Falls is the only other runner that has broke 16 minutes on the Saratoga State Park course.

Boys Class D - 12:30pm

What to Look For: Class D is always my biggest crapshoot when it comes to predictions, you have schools from four different leagues and three of them don't run their league championships at Saratoga State Park so there is always some guesswork that is involved. So much so that I had no idea who the top teams would be until I crunched the numbers. When the numbers were crunched, Maple Hill came out on top as the favorite based on their much better depth that they have over everyone else. Through three runners there were five schools that had a shot at winning it, but then Maple Hill puts them all away with the fourth and fifth runners (and even their sixth if one of them falters). Hadley-Luzerne and Greenwich look to challenge but will need a much better performance from their four and fifth runners with Mayfield and Berlin not that far behind. Individually, Greenwich's Colin Beasor has thirty seconds over the rest of the field and is the favorite. After Beasor, the next five runners are less than ten seconds apart from each other so it should be a crazy dash to the finish.
