2024 Sectional place: 11th place-Class A
Projected Lineup: Noah Bizer-Sr., Cameron Volk-Sr., Karim Hassy-Sr., Henry Hypnarowski-Sr., Daniel Levy-Jr., Stanley Cornell-Sr., Nathaniel Pupons-Jr., E.J. Verhoff-Sr., Archer Goldman-8th
Key Losses: Fabe Byer, Henry Kirchgraber
Team Outlook: Return their top three from last year. Bizer is a solid number one and was just a tad over 17 minutes last year. Volk are and good 2nd and 3rd as both were in the 18 minute range last year. Bit of a drop off after that and wwill need the gap to close to their top three if they want to imrove in the league
Averill Park Warriors
2024 Sectional place: 6th place-Class B
Projected Lineup: Lucas Brown-Sr., Roy Wajda-Sr., Noah Sollohub-Sr., Parker Dupuis-Sr., Alex Perala-Sr., Spencer Sweet-Jr.
Key Losses: Benjamin Nazarian, Thomas Murray, Theodore Dangler
Team Outlook: Lose three out of their top five from last year and will need to regroup a little. Brown is a solid number one and was in the mid 17 minute range last year. Bit od a dropoff after Brown as Wajda and Sollohub are over a minute behind and their fifth, Peral almost 90 seconds behind their number four, Dupuis so they will need to slose the gaps to move up.
Ballston Spa Scotties
2024 Sectional place: 9th place-Class A, 18th NXN Regionals
Projected Lineup: Colin McKay-Jr., Samuel Demerritt-Sr., Lucas Guest-Sr., Evan Potter-Jr., Nicholas Sharp-Sr., Shal Guzman-Sr., William Hu-Jr.
Key Losses: Matthew Meerdink, Sean Priest, Jack Easo, Shooter Howe
Team Outlook: Graduation hit them hard as they lose three out of their top four. McKay should be their number one and was just over 19 minutes last year. Demeritt is their second returner and was in the high 19 minute rage. Rest of their top five were in the mid to high 20 minutes and will need to see imrpovements to improve in the league.
Bethlehem Eagles
2024 Sectional place: 7th place-Class A
Projected Lineup: Calvin Howard-Jr., Lucas Bernacki-Jr., Keaton Rickert-Jr., Mason Bergeron-So., Andrew Turinsky-Fr., Keiran McKay-Sr., Will Tait-Fr.
Key Losses: Mikey Murphy, Josh Bolke
Team Outlook: Lose their number two but return everyone else. Howard is one of the top runners in the section and gives tem a solid number one. Bernacki, Rickert, and Bergeron were 90 second to two minutes behind Howard and look to close that gap to him. If they can go that, they have the ability to move up to the top half of the league.
Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake Spartans
2024 Sectional place: 2nd place-Class B
Projected Lineup: Ethan Owen-Jr., Jackson Majewski-Fr., Logan Muller-Sr., Luca Piccirillo=Jr., Caden Flores-Sr., Cooper Johnson-So., Dylan Fiel-So.
Key Losses: none
Team Outlook: Return everyone from last year and look to look to improve from last year. Owen and Majewski are a great 1-2 punch as both were in the 16 minute range last year. Muller, Piccirillo, and Flores should be their thirs through fifth runner and were all in the mid 17's last year. If they can close the gap to their top two runners then they will have a shot at challenging the top three team in the league.,
C.B.A. Brothers
2024 Sectional place: 1st place-Class B
Projected Lineup: Maverick Kentz-Sr., Declan Lyman-Jr., Sean Garrity-Sr., Matthew Vivas-Sr., Linus Magione-So., Matt McKenna-So., Cam Vining-Sr., Jackson Davignon-Jr., Drew Trietiak-Jr., Gavin Giglia-So.
Key Losses: Jack Marchese, Michael Versaci, William Comensky
Team Outlook: Lose three out of four from last year's sectional champion team but still return a solid team. Kentz is a solid number one as he was in the mid 16's last year. Lyman steps up to thei number two runner after being thier fifth returning time which is a big boost for their team. Garrity, Vivas, and Magione loos to complete thie top five which gives thema solid top five. Can defintely move up to top four in the league if theu can keep a tight back.
Colonie Garnet Raiders
2024 Sectional place: 1st place-Class A
Projected Lineup: Owen Conley-Sr., Nicholas Kohli-Sr., Gavin McNeal-Sr., Ben Fondacaro-Sr., Jack Cronin-Sr., Sebastian Nitcher-Jr., Alexnader DeCarlo-Jr.
Key Losses: Ian Zehnder, Shane LaFountain, Austin LaFountain, Alexander Rennick
Team Outlook: After wining their first sectional title since 1974 they are hit hard to graduation losing thei 2nd through 6th runners from last year. They do bring back their nymber one, Conley, who retturns with the best time in the Section in the mid 15's. Kohli is their number two and was just under 17 minutes last year. McNeal and Fondacaro should be the i 3nd nd 4th and were in the high 17's to low 18 minutes range. Huge dropoff after that and will need to improve that number five spot if tey want to improve in the league.
Columbia Blue Devils
2024 Sectional place: 8th place-Class A
Projected Lineup: Johnny Edick-Sr., Daniel Cirincione-Jr., Joey Edick-Fr., Robert Graziano-Sr., Riley Sheehan-Jr., Asher Torres-Jr., Alexander Breig-Sr.
Key Losses: Giovanni LaPietra, Jasper Travis, Thenuk Chandrasekeara
Team Outlook: Lose their top runner and three out of seven from last year. Johnny Edick should be their number one this year. He was in the low 17 minute range last year and a top 25 returner in the league. Cirincione is their second retunrer and was just under 18 minutes last year.Joey Edick and Graziano were both in the mid 16's last year, Their number five was almost two minutes behind their fourth and will need to find someone to step into that number five spor if the want to move up in the league,
Guilderland Dutchmen
2024 Sectional place: 4th place-Class A, 10th place NXN Regionals
Projected Lineup: Jospeh Kosier-Jr., Alex Goldman-Jr., Joshua Melchior-Jr., Graham Clarke-Sr., Jack Kransler-Jr., Young Xu-Sr., Zexi Wang-Sr.
Key Losses: William Smitas, Noah Johnson, Sean Levy, Alex Goldman (to Albany Academy)
Team Outlook: Lose three out of their top five from last year, including their nymber one. Still bring back good depth to stay competitive. Kosier comes in as their number one and looks to have bounceback seaon. Melchior returns as their number two and was in the mid 16's last year. Kransler, Xu, and Wang were all in the mid 17 minute range which give them a solid top five. Tough to challenge Saratoga but they're sstill one of the top teams in the league.
Niskayuna Silver Warriors
2024 Sectional place: 6th place-Class A
Projected Lineup: Nicholas Downing-Sr., Charlie Breslin-Jr., Ryan Harrow-Sr., Dean Lowey-Sr., Jack Mongelli-Sr., Carter Hebbard-Sr., Ben Samiuk-Sr.
Key Losses: Evan Kresge, Jackson Morse, Abhi Yukilevich
Team Outlook: Return their top three and four out of five from last year. Downing, Breslin, and Harrow are a solid top three as they were all in the mid to high 16 minute range. Lowert is a good nymber four as he was in the mid 17's last year. Big dropoff after thri top four as their next two returning runners are over two minutes behind. Need to find someone to step into that fifth position if they want to move up into the top three teams.
Saratoga Springs Blue Streaks
2024 Sectional place: 2nd place-Class A
Projected Lineup: Thomas Isenovski-Sr., Brent Pasek-Jr., Levi Layden-Jr., Joshua Nix-Sr., Jackson Shaw-Jr., Tommy Kirchherr-So., Graham Burns-Jr., Caleb Hancock-Sr., Lucas Miller-Jr., Justin Lentini-So.
Key Losses: Darren Pasek, Owen Blaisdell, Othmane Kerrome, Walker Chapman
Team Outlook: Lose four out of their top six from last year but still return as the team to beat with their impressive depth. Isenovski returns as one of the top runners in the section as he was in the mid 15 minute range last year. Layden, Nix, and Burns were all in the mid 16's last year and Pasek should be in the mix with them too (Pasek didn't have a good Queensbury time but was low 17's and Saratoga). This gives them better septh than every team in the league and gives them the nod for them the nod for the league title.
Schenectady Patriots
2024 Sectional place: 10th place-Class A
Projected Lineup: Devin Henry-Sr., Devian Roberts-Sr., Michael Serrano-Sr., Nashawn Rogers-Sr., Cainen Aceto-So., Athen Della Roatta-Sr., Thomas Kirby-So.
Key Losses: David Rambharose, Adam Shahbain
Team Outlook: Lose their first and third runners from last year. Henry returns as their top runner and was in the mid 18 minute range last year. their second through fifth runners were all in ht emid 19 minute range which they will look to improve if they want to move up in the league.
Shaker Blue Bison
2024 Sectional place: 5th place-Class A
Projected Lineup: Adam Judson-Jr., Jack Gaudette-Sr., Vedhant Agni-Sr., Stephen Mostert-Jr., Connor Higgins-Jr., Christopher Bunaes-Jr., Hunter Doolittle-Sr.
Key Losses: Andrew Lawler, Robert Delacruz, Jack Munaes
Team Outlook: Return three out of their top four from last year. Judson and Gaudette are a solid top two and were both in the mid 16 minute range. Agni and Mostert are their third and fourth and are about 40-50 second back from their top two. Big dropoff after that as their next two runners are pver 90 second behind and will need to close that gap if they want to move up into the top three or four in the league.Lose three out of their top four to graduation
Shenendehowa Plainsmen
2024 Sectional place: 3rd place-Class A
Projected Lineup: Leo Christopher-Sr., Erik Miller-Jr., Dylan Vana-So., Jack Clyne-Sr., Joshua Woodry-Sr., Jacob Perkins-Sr., Jackson Zbyzenski-Sr.
Key Losses: Jack Seagroatt, Jack Hallahan, Gregory Parseghian, William Shambach
Team Outlook: Lose three out of their top four runners to graduation but always have depth to recover. Christopher comes in as their top runner as he was in the mid 16 minute range last year. Miller is their number two and was just over 17 minutes, with Vana and Clynce in the mid 17's. Four runners are in the low 18's and they will need as least one of them to close the gap to the fourth runner to challenge in the league.

Team Outlook: Lose only their third runner from their top five from last year. Distefano returns as their top runner and was in the mid 20 minute range. Mullin, Gish, and Hallgren come in next and were in the mid 22's last year. Their fifth runner is almost five minutes back and that gap will need to close by a lot if they want to move up in the league.
Averill Park Warriors
2024 Sectional place: 5th place-Class B
Projected Lineup:Elizabeth Cronin-Fr., Mae Miller-Jr., Alexa Ruppe-Sr., Emma Grosso-So., Eva Lischak-Jr., Aria Bertos-Jr., Abigail Hurst-Jr.
Key Losses: Sophia Miller
Team Outlook: Only lose their number four runner from last year and return everyone else. Cronin returns as their top runner and was in the low 20 minute range last year. Miller is their number two and was just under 21 minutes and Ruppe their third about a minute back. Their fourth and fifth were both in the mid 23 minute range. They have two significant gaps to close, their second to third and their fourth and fifth to their third runners. To move up they will need to close those gaps.
Ballston Spa Scotties
2024 Sectional place: 9th place-Class A
Projected Lineup: Alexandra Beck-Sr., Emily Hye-Sr., Megan Loomis-Sr., Amelia DeLuke-Sr., Hadley Sherer-Jr., Emma Newman-Jr., Amelia Hostetter-Sr.
Key Losses: Kate Taylor, Ally Teitsch, Christine Jiang
Team Outlook: Return their top two runners but lose the rest of their top five from last year. Beck returns as their top runner and was just under 20 minutes last year. Hye is their number two and was in the mid 20 minute range. After their top two their number three runner is over four minutes behind and with fourth and fifth another four minutes behind. A lpt of work need to be done with their third through fifth runners if they want to move up.
Bethlehem Eagles
2024 Sectional place: 1st place-Class A, 1st place-NXN Reionals/Federations
Projected Lineup: Logan Kuhn-Sr., Anna Chrapowitzy-Jr., Sophia Chromczak-Fr., Tess McNamara-So., Signey Graham-So., Ruby O'Meara-Jr., Lillian Masters-Jr.
Key Losses: Charlotte O'Meara, Katherine Bannigan
Team Outlook: Return three out of their top five from last year's state champions. Their top three are better than anyone in the state ith Kuhn in hte high 17 minute range and Chromczak and Chrapowitzy less than 10 seconds behind her.McNamara comes in as their number four and is a minute behond their top three. Graham steps in as their fifth runner and is 30 seconds behind McNamsra. Thise two gaps need to close and add more depth if they want to repeat. Still have a great shot a repeating but Shenendehowa and Saratoga are right with them.
Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake Spartans
2024 Sectional place: 1st place-Class B, 4th place New York State Meet
Projected Lineup: Addison Cyr-Sr., Lillian Knott-So., Adalyn Greer-Jr., Arden Heiner-Jr., Delaney Casey-Sr., Kiernan Crary-Gracz-Sr., Kate Weeks-So.
Key Losses: none
Team Outlook: Return everyone. Cyr returns as their top runner and was in the mid 19 minute range last year. Knott and Greer are their 2nd and 3rd ruuners and both were also in the 19's.Heiner was just over 20 minutes last year and should be theit 4th runner. Two or three runners should battle it out for the fifth spot. If one of them can close the gap to their 4th runner then they would have the talent to move up to 3rd ot 4th in the league and a favorite for the state title.
Colonie Garnet Raiders
2024 Sectional place: 8th place-Class A
Projected Lineup: Liliana Burbihe-Sr., Juliana LaFountain-Sr., Abigail Milo-Sr., Giovanna Kelleher-So., Natalie Kelleher-Jr., Avan Gundlach-8th, Anna Pekrol-Fr.
Key Losses: Mia McClaine
Team Outlook: Lose the top runner from last year but return everyone else. Burbridge and LaFountain should battle it out for the top spot and were both just under 21 minutes last year.Milo, and the Kelleher's should be their third through fifth runners and all were in the mid 21 minute range. They have asmall 1-5 gap but the times need to improve if they want to move up in the league.
Columbia Blue Devils
2024 Sectional place: 7th place-Class A
Projected Lineup: Ava Weiss-Sr., Peyton Wagner-So., Lucielle Mueller-So., Olivia Kline-So., Gabrielle LaQuidara-So., Sabine Yannone-Sr., Hailey Miller-Sr.
Key Losses: none
Team Outlook: Everyone should return. Weiss returns as their number on and was in the mid 19 minute range last year. Wagner and Mueller should be their 2nd and 3rd runnrs and were in the mid 20's. Kline and LaQuidara were in the low 21 minute range and should finish their top five but they will need their fourth and fifth to close the gap to their top three if they want to move up.
Guilderland Dutchmen
2024 Sectional place: 4th place-Class A, 15th place Federation Meet
Projected Lineup: Addison Bellekoop-Sr., Tara Iyer-So. Julia Beyer-Jr., Braelyn Cornell-Jr., Teagan Davis-Fr., Danika Kosier-Fr., Jane McCoy-So., Kara Whiteside-Jr., Camille Wey, Lily Hubbard-So.
Key Losses: Alexa Kosier
Team Outlook: Lost their number four from last year but return everyone else. Vellekoop returns as their number one and was in the low 18 minute range and one of the top runners in the league. Cornell come in as their number two and was in the low 19's last year and Iyer was in the high 19's and should be their number three. Kosier and Hubbard should be their four and fifth and were just over 20 minutes last year. A solid top four team but will need to close the gap to their number two if they want to challenge the top three teams in the league.

Projected Lineup: Callan Stabler-Sr., Lily Harrow-Sr., Zoe Seeley-Jr., Brookelyn McDonald-Jr. Sofia Bane-Sr., Olivia Walker-So., Marley Bishop-So.
Key Losses: Allison Boler
Team Outlook: Lost their top runner but return everyone else. Stabler and Harrow should be their top two and both were in the 19 minute range last year. Seeley should be their number three and was just over 20 minutes. McDonald, Bane, and Walker should be battling for their fourth and fifth spots and were in the mid 20 minute range. Solid team but want to close the gap between the third and fifth runners if they want to move up in the league.
Saratoga Springs Blue Streaks
2024 Sectional place: 3rd place-Class A
Projected Lineup: Erin Moleski-Fr., Reagan Owen-So., Cora Conley-So., Zoe Tamvada-Fr., Elle Nelson-So.. Iley Centea-So., Tong Ang-Jr., Heidi Berglund-Jr., Matilda Sullivan-So.
Key Losses: Hailey Capello
Team Outlook: Return their top four from last year and a new coach after the Kranicks have retired. Moleski returns as their number one and was in the low 18 minute range and is one of the top runners in the league. Owen and Conley are the 2nd and 3rd runners and were also in the mid 18 minutes and were state qualifiers last year. Tamvada, Nelson, and Centea will battle it out for the fourth and fifth spots and were in the mid 19 minute range. Team has a a good shot at taking the league and sectional title back but will want to see their fourth and fith runners to close the gap to their third runner.

Team Outlook: Loe their number two from last year but return everyone else. Poinsette is their top runner and was in the mid 21 minute range last year. Rest of team and were all over 24 minutes last year and will need to work on building the program back up.

2024 Sectional place: 6th place-Class A
Projected Lineup: Sahana Miracle-Jr., Molly Higgins-Fr., Boshra Benantar-Jr., Megan McKinney-Fr., Emma Stone-So., Lilly Higgins-So., Veronica Kenick-8th., Evie Weiss-7th., Maeve Hisgen-Jr., Vidya Narra-So.

Team Outlook: Hit hard losing four out of five from last year. Miracle takes over as their number one runner and was in the mid 20 minute range. Molly Higgins should be their number two and was in the mid 21's last tear. Their third through fifth were in the low 22 minute range last year. They'll need to regroup this year and see some improvements if they want to move up in the league.
Shenendehowa Plainsmen
2024 Sectional place: 2nd place-Class A
Projected Lineup: Leyla Bhusri-Sr., CourtneyKrawiecki-Sr., Riley Lynch-So., Anna McGaffin-So., Raquelle Landa-Sr., Eva Bronzell-Jr., Moira Gltnn-Sr.
Key Losses: Lily Fiona Klingbeil
Team Outlook: Return six out of their top seven from last year, only losing their fourth runner. Bhusri comes back as the top runner in the section and was in the mid 17 minute range last year. After and big Spring, Lynch should jump up to the number two spot with Krawiecki their number three, who was a state qualifier last year. McGaffin and Landa should be their fourth and fifth and were in the low to mid 19's last year. In a close fight for the league they will want their fourth and fifth to close the gap to their third runner if they want to seal the league and sectional title.
