    Hello all. It's almost that time again. Preseason cross country starts in less than two weeks. That means that I'm spending less time playing internet poker at work and more time working on my preseason predictions. I didn't do too badly last year picking 12 out of 14 league champions (Queensbury girls and LaSalle boys got me.) 8 out of 14 individual league champions, and not to mention 7 out of 8 sectional team champs (Burnt Hills girls in Class B, at least I had them a close 2nd.)

    Well now it's time for the 2004 predictions and like always I will need as much input as I can get. So feel free to email me with how your team is looking. Try to include things like what your projected top 7 looks like, any new runners that might be an impact, any people your team lost due to quitting, injury, or transferring, and, if your up for it, a write-up of how you think your team will do in your league and class. Also, I'd like to hear your opinions on your league and class. I think I'll post the good ones if you want them. If you want your write-up not published then just let me know and your email will be just between you and I. 

    Your help is always needed and appreciated. One thing that always ticks me off is after I put out my predictions there's always someone who sends me an email telling me that someone I had listed on their team quit and usually it's phrased in some sort of smartass way. Seriously, I don't have any inside information on teams, they only way I learn about them is through you guys. If no one sends me anything about a team then the only info I have on them is last year's results. If I was someone who gets inside information then I'd probably be on ESPN on a split screen screaming back and forth with Steven A. Smith.

   Finally, I'm looking for some league information from last year. If you or someone you know has the following information then please email or send it to me as soon as you can. Here's the information I need from each league.

Big 10: Nothing

Colonial Council: J.V. and Modified results from league championships.

Foothills Council: All results from league championships

Patroon Conference: Sub Varsity results from league championships. I have the varsity results.

Suburban Council: Nothing

Wasaren League: Nothing

Western Athletic Conference: Nothing
